"Born and raised in Los Angeles, I currently live in Westchester by LAX with my husband, two children, and three dogs. I obtained my BA from the University of Arizona, completed my lactation education at the University of California San Diego, and earned my clinical competency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Prior to becoming an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), I worked in finance specializing in due diligence and fund administration.
Breastfeeding got off to a rough start when my daughter was born. With education and support from an IBCLC we overcame our challenges and breastfed for one year. The science behind breastfeeding fascinated me and I was itching for a change so I quit my job, went back to school, and started a new career. I'm happy to have a career that leaves a positive impact on my community.
When I'm not working I like to read, go to concerts, play with my dogs, enjoy nature, travel, and spend time with my family. I look forward to assisting you with attentive care during this special time in your life."
