As the Lactation Consultant RN IBCLC I provide the patient/family inpatient care, I also run the Lactation Clinic, provide lactation support for all inpatient/outpatient clinics including the ER. I am part of the multidisciplinary team to formulate and provide a detailed plan of care for our patients. I develop and implement ongoing education/training for the physicians, nurses and staff, write and contribute to Operating Instructions, prepare for Inspector General inspections, Joint Commission Accreditations, act a a ORYX Champion and am a member of the Patient Safety Committee among other committees and responsibilities. I am the Wright-Patterson Medical Center's community outreach for Lactation Support
