Bio

Heidi Koslo is a family nurse practitioner and lactation consultant whose healthcare philosophy is holistic and family-centered. She started her healthcare career providing mother-to-mother breastfeeding support, and moved on to providing nutrition and lactation support through the WIC program in Wasilla, AK in 2004.

As a Registered Nurse since 2007, she has worked in Maternal-Child and high-risk Perinatal hospital units in South Carolina and Alaska. In 2012 she became an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and has spent the past two years serving patients across the life-span in the Alaska Native and American Veteran populations (by special agreement) through Southcentral Foundation.

Heidi is happily married to a wonderful husband and they have a teenage daughter, two dogs, and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, beading, and outdoor pursuits such as kayaking and hiking.
