My name is Angie Tollefson and I am a Registered Nurse, Certified IBCLC Lactation Consultant and Certified Lactation Educator. I have been working in women's healthcare for over 14 years in OB/GYN care and reproductive endocrinology (infertility/IVF). My passion and love of nursing revolves around pregnant/new moms and their babies. I love helping women achieve their breastfeeding goals and giving them the support they need during the amazing transition into parenthood. I love supporting moms through what can sometimes be a challenging time into a time of nurturing and bonding with their baby. My favorite memories of my own children's infancy were the hours spent nursing. There was no greater gift I could give my children than my time and physical touch. Now that they are 14 and 9, time and physical touch are difficult to come by! I taxi them from place to place, from morning till night and remember the days of rocking with them in my lap with nowhere else to go, giving them my undivided attention. It all goes so fast... I live with my two beautiful kids and wonderful, supportive husband of 19 years in north Spokane. I've lived here for 21 years and can't imagine a better place to raise a family. In our free time we love to hang out on the lake boating, fishing and spending time with friends.
