Bio

I am an IBCLC certified since 2004, and also a Certified Nurse-Midwife with over 20 years of experience. I can help you not only with breastfeeding after the baby is born, but also provide you with prenatal consultation and preparation for breastfeeding.

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nutrition at Cornell University, then studied Nurse-Midwifery at Yale University graduating in 1988. As a nurse-midwife, I have had a long affiliation with the Cambridge Midwives and Birth Center, and more recently with Boston Medical Center. My overseas experience includes volunteer work in both Haiti and Mexico.

I have worked with women from all over the world and I speak fluent Spanish, Haitian Creole, and some French and Portuguese.

I recently returned from working in Guatemala as the coordinator of a mobile clinics project. Now I'm back and glad to meet with your family.
