I've been a lactation consultant since 2009 and an RN for 30+ years. I help women and their babies meet their breastfeeding goals in the hospital and via outpatient visits at North Memorial Medical Center.
I have two grown children, one who was an NICU baby and one who was my “mother earth birth” baby. I experienced breastfeeding challenges with both children, and appreciate what you go through to figure out what works best.
With a quiet, gentle approach to care I take both mom’s and baby’s personalities and preferences into consideration. I look forward to helping you meet your breastfeeding goals.
I started Baby Whisperer Lactation Consultants in 2016, offering in-home lactation consults in Minneapolis and the southwest suburbs. I was one of 5 top nominees for the March of Dimes Women's Health Nurse of the Year. I help moms with basic breastfeeding questions, latch concerns, low milk supply, tongue/lip tie assessment and referral, engorgement, hand expression, alternative feeding methods to support breastfeeding - and if I don't know the answer at our visit, I have many contacts and resources to connect with to get you the help you need. Please email me for information on pricing. And look for me on Facebook. I look forward to meeting you!

Anne is the best IBCLC around. Both my babies had tongue ties (diagnosed by Anne and referred to a pediatric dentist). She helped us get through the procedure and the challenges that came with it. I had supply issues with my first and she helped me fix that and I was then able to successfully breastfeed my daughter for 19 months. With my son he still had trouble breastfeeding after his tie release. She helped us navigate pumping and bottling and taught us exercises to strengthen his tongue until he finally began exclusive breastfeeding at 5 months old. I COULD NOT have done it without Anne. Breastfeeding is not easy. You need support. I’m so glad I had Anne to help.
I had pain while nursing both my babies as newborns.
