Bio

Soraya is a mother to two lovable, wild children, devoted partner to a perpetually flour-laden baker, and a trained birth and postpartum doula, postpartum placenta specialist, and childbirth educator. In addition to supporting families, Soraya's passions lie with supporting her fellow doulas by bringing continued education and professional support to her community, supporting them as a founding member of the Idaho Doula Associates. When Soraya isn't working with clients, she works tirelessly as client liaison for Treasure Valley Midwives, slings bread at the Boise Farmers Market for her family bakery, and somehow finds time to spend with her space-obsessed little boy and sweet baby daughter, read period pieces and modern Middle Eastern novels, cook meals with an 80 percent success rate, toil away in her garden, and pursue more artistic endeavors.
