Bio

I became fascinated with childbirth when I was pregnant with my first child. I read everything I could get my hands and continued to learn as I went through my next three pregnancies. After a number of years of personal study, I decided to enter nursing school with the goal of becoming a labor and delivery room nurse. After serving women in this capacity for many years and supporting my own daughters through their homebirths, I decided to take doula training so that I could continue to support women and their partners through one of the most exciting journeys of their life.
