I offer full-spectrum support for a gentle transition to parenthood, including holistic birth and parenting preparation workshops, birth and postpartum doula services, placenta encapsulation, birth photography, and oodles more. Expectant parents are sometimes worried about venturing into unfamiliar territory on the journey through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenting. I help parents develop a relaxed, positive mindset to embark on the greatest adventure of their lives with excitement, strength, confidence, and ease. I have a degree in psychology with an emphasis on early childhood development, education, and early intervention for children and families with special needs. I have received live and online doula training and certification from many of the leading organizations in the field, and I am a certified birth spirituality and healing coach. I have specific training and experience with homebirth, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, perinatal loss, early intervention, high-risk pregnancy and bedrest, cesarean, and VBAC. I am half academic and half woo-woo, and I love to hang out at the intersection of science and spirituality. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation for nearly twenty years, and singing is my favorite medicine.
