I received my BA in psychology and anthropology from UC Berkeley and my master's degree in clinical psychology from Columbia University in 2015. The focus of my formal education was reproductive and sexual health, and I am a research associate with the Perinatal Health Research Division at Kaiser Permanente's Division of Research. Working in this field has fueled my passion to be a great doula, and I have gained a profound amount of knowledge about the unique needs of pregnant women by working with fertility issues, high-risk and unique pregnancies, queer families, and the balance of professional and personal changes. I have been a doula for four years and am certified through DONA International. I have also received additional training in Spinning Babies techniques to address ideal fetal positioning for labor and birth. I have years of experience working in hospitals and in the clinical care field alongside nurses, physicians, and medical staff. All of my birth experiences have been unique, empowering, and highly memorable. I aim to provide the mothers and families I work with the unconditional support that is unique to their personal needs, and I look forward to providing you the support you need as you enter the chapter of parenthood!
