Several years ago, Meg found her calling working in the health and wellness industry. She has helped countless individuals pursue their goals of living more healthy lifestyles. Now, as a birth doula, Meg provides emotional, physical, and informational support to pregnant couples striving to achieve their ideal birth experience. In 2008, Meg became pregnant with her first child. Although the pregnancy went smoothly, Meg came to find her dreams for her birth in jeopardy: her baby was in a breech position. Most doctors would push a woman into opting for a cesarean section in this situation, especially considering it was her first child. However, Meg was blessed to have healthcare professionals at her side who cared about her wishes and helped her achieve them; Meg delivered her daughter Amelia naturally, breech, without the assistance of pain medication. Following her own pregnancy, Meg found herself fascinated and drawn to pregnancy and the birth process. Soon after, she found her calling as a birth doula. Meg received her birth doula training through Aviva Institute of Duluth, Minnesota. Drawing on her own pregnancy and birth experience, Meg desires to help couples likewise achieve their own goals for pregnancy and birth.
