Bio

Samantha is a DONA certified birth doula. She has been a doula since 2006. She is a mother of four children, two boys and two girls. Three of her children were born at home and one at TMH. She fell in love with birth and supporting women shortly after the birth of her first child in 2005. Sam owns Wisdom of a Woman Doula Services and has offered support at over 200 births! She is a mama who loves supporting other mamas in their journey to motherhood. She also graduated FSU with a degree in anthropology and has a deep respect and admiration for different cultures worldwide and their birthing and parenting practices. It is her goal to support women in birthing their babies and feeling empowered as they do. She believes the best way to do this is to provide constant presence, respect, strength, and information to the woman as she is growing and birthing her baby. She enjoys homeschooling her children, spending time with her husband and friends, and reading new and exciting things about birth, parenting, and women all over the world.
