Bio

In 2017, as a nursing major at the University of Vermont, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, I worked with a home birth midwifery practice in Los Angeles to learn how the midwifery model of care worked. I never would have dreamed that Birthing Rhythm Midwifery would take me on as a junior student and mentee. Having been exposed to birth work in such an exceptional environment, I began looking into ways to get more involved. In June 2018, I completed my DONA-certified birth doula training. I created Me'ira shortly thereafter and now take clients in both Burlington, VT, and Los Angeles, CA. Working within the birth community has been a life-changing experience personally, spiritually, and professionally. I am forever grateful to witness every birth and to be invited to that experience.
