As a mom of twins and one "singleton", a business owner, clinical psychotherapist, and every thing in between, I can relate to the challenges that come with the balancing act women are expected to master each day. It is because of these unrealistic societal expectations that I decided to pursue training in helping to support moms across the board, from family planning, to long after postpartum. I have worked with some of the best professionals in this area, and in some of the very few hospitals that offer support for perinatal women experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD and trauma, due to their pregnancies, birthing experiences and/or postpartum difficulties.
In efforts to increase awareness and offer even more support for women, couples and families surrounding perinatal challenges, I started a group psychotherapy practice, with offices in Chicago, Lombard and Aurora, to help people in multiple demographic areas. We now have multiple perinatal mental health trained clinicians on staff, ready to support you and your loved ones during this overwhelming and sometimes debilitating time in your life.
