"Dr. Caitlyn Tivy earned her degree from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical Campus, a program currently ranked in the top 15 of more than 200 PT schools in the US. She went on to complete a residency in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Evidence in Motion in Austin, TX, and was awarded the designation of Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2018.
She has completed additional specialty training in pelvic floor physical therapy through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is passionate about expanding public awareness of pelvic floor physical therapy as a safe and effective treatment for issues that many people consider untreatable or are afraid to even ask about. Post-partum health care for new parents is grossly undervalued in the American medical system, and Dr. Tivy hopes to be part of the movement to change that paradigm.
She also uses her 5+ years of experience as a certified yoga teacher (CYT) to inform and enrich her treatment approach. She is honored to serve the Roaring Fork Valley and provide pelvic health care to those in need. "
