We are a voluntary donor milk bank following the guidelines of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America. We have a multi-step screening process that starts with a 10 minute phone screening. Once a mother qualifies as a donor, we ask for an initial donation of at least 150 ounces. We are able to accept milk until the baby turns one year old.
Launched in 2012, Saint Luke’s Heart of America Mothers' Milk Bank is part of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.
