My name is Melanie Acon and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I received a Master of Arts degree from Union Institute and University in Health and Wellness with a special concentration in Human Lactation, which led me to my IBCLC certification. I am married and a mother to three children, all of who were and are breastfed. My first breastfeeding experience was not pretty or easy at all, which is what motivated me to be here today. I am deeply passionate about breastfeeding and believe every family deserves evidence-based education and support when it comes to infant feeding.

I offer monthly virtual prenatal breastfeeding classes that cover everything you need to know from antenatal colostrum harvesting to weaning. I also offer in-home lactation consultations and virtual back to work and pump fitting consultations! **Now accepting insurance**
