Tell me why I I just got scammed so they could bill my insurance?
I made an appointment to get my nexplanon replaced. I told them I had a pap this year already so I didn’t need another one. They got me scheduled and that was it.
I show up and they had 0 plan of replacing my birth control. They hadn’t even ordered a new one to put in. They told me I was there to “establish care”
Who goes to an OBGYN to establish care without even being checked? They weighed me, took my bp & told me to come back next month. (Which is after my current birth control expires.) They wouldn’t even remove the old one while the new one was ordered. I came to this appointment for literally no reason so that they could bill my insurance. Absolutely not.
Why would I come in to an appointment just to be told to come back next month.

I should add, establishing care is perfectly fine. But that is not what I was there for. I came for my scheduled procedure. The service they scheduled for, they refused to do until they could squeeze more money.
