Bio

Amanda is a certified yoga teacher and doula. She is a loving mother who has homeschooled her children for 16 years. She loves creating arts and crafts, gardening, and connecting with nature and humanity. Amanda attended Miami Dade College in 2006 for the Doulas for Dade program. There she worked with pregnant teens from COPE, for whom she provided pregnancy education and labor support. She received certification with DONA International in 2010. Amanda provided prenatal and postpartum services for families in Tallahassee, FL, from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, Amanda became a certified yoga teacher with Leslie Hank's Yoga Unlimited. She also received a certification in prenatal and postpartum exercise from Fit for Birth in 2013. Amanda is currently offering hatha-yoga, children's yoga, prenatal/postpartum yoga, childbirth classes, doula services, and homeschooling support for families.
