Bio

After serving as an unofficial doula for many years, I finally completed birth and postpartum doula training through the Long Island Doula Association (LIDA) and will soon be certified. As an active member of LIDA, I am well connected with an extensive array of wonderful resources and services for pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. I am thrilled to finally be serving birthing people and families in my community as a professional doula, and I am incredibly grateful to my amazing circle of doula mentors and colleagues for helping me build Zinnia Doula Services. I live in Huntington with my two kids, a shaggy labradoodle named Bo, and a lovely little goldfish named Jimmy. I enjoy spending time outdoors, long dog walks, music, gardening, and cooking (and eating!) healthy food. I am passionate about educating, supporting, and empowering people as they prepare for labor, childbirth, and the transition that comes with a new baby.
