Bio

Aloha! My name is Bethany, Founder and Operator of Bethany Birth Services. As your Birth Keeper, I believe in providing compassionate, empowering knowledge surrounding all things birth, through a holistic approach.

I became fascinated with birth as a little girl growing up in Hawaii and always knew this was the field I’m meant to practice in. I was honored to doula my sister’s first birth at the age of 15. Through the years I’ve grown tremendously in my knowledge of birth. In 2016, began my trainings and have collected many certificates and skills along the way. I’m a double trained doula, triple certified placenta encapsulation specialist, and certified lactation consultant.

I met my husband then moved to California to pursue my birth career. I’m 1 in 4 women to experience a miscarriage pregnancy loss.

When I’m not birth-working, I love spending time with my husband and our fur babies.
