Bio

Caitlyn is a Certified Birth Doula, Licensed Nurse, Register EMT, and has a BA in human development. She spent five years in the U.S. Air Force; during her service she traveled all over the world serving families and expecting mothers in various ways. She spent two years working in labor and delivery at David Grant Medical Center in California, where she was truly able to engage with women and their families by educating, advocating, and supporting them through their labor and birth. Before being honorably discharged in 2017, she became a certified doula and enrolled in courses toward the goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. Caitlyn is passionate about women and feels that every woman should be respected and heard, especially during her pregnancy and birth. Using knowledge and skills acquired during her demanding career in the military, she feels her primary goals as a doula are to inspire confidence while also comforting and guiding her clients through a very special chapter in their lives.
