My love of birth began in 2011 after attending a childbirth class in preparation of trying to get pregnant, and I have since attended over 50 births as a doula. I feel passionate that every woman should have a conscious birth and do so in a place that she feels most safe and comfortable, whether that is in a hospital, birth center, or at home. I was blessed to have one doula at my first home birth and two at my second. My doulas provided me with physical, mental, and emotional support through my pregnancies, births, and postpartum. Because of my doulas my husband was more confident and able to be there to support me better. My doulas helped make my births positive and beautiful experiences for my family, and because of the love and compassion I received from these amazing women I want to provide that same support to others. I believe every mother and father should be able to have a doula at their birth.
