Bio

I'm a DONA-certified labor doula and a CAPPA-certified postpartum doula, a Birthing From Within advanced childbirth educator, and a breastfeeding educator. I've attended over 200 births and am working toward IBCLC certification. My passion is inspired by my own experience as a mother and grandmother. Daily yoga and meditation help me to remain open and present so that I can support clients' unique needs as birth and parenting evolve. I work in partnership with Emily Watkins, an experienced, compassionate and all-around awesome doula. Together we are Two Doulas and You, a team built on 15+ years of birth and postpartum expertise and wisdom. We offer the collaborative support of two seasoned, like-minded doulas, with one of us guaranteed to attend your birth. Our combined support ensures that clients get consistent, flexible, and compassionate evidence-based support from the day you hire us, with no time limit on our support. Our goal is to help each client have a safe, positive birth and postpartum experience, empowered by compassion, knowledge and informed consent.
