Growing up, Dasia was always passionate about pregnancy, birth, and newborns. She has a Master of Science in education administration and plans to return to school to become a nurse midwife. Her research on pregnancy and women's health and her role as a reproductive/birth justice advocate led her to become a doula. She is trained through Buffalo Doula Collective. She believes that childbirth is a beautiful, complex, life-changing, and powerful experience that most birthing persons never forget. She believes in the importance of a labor experience in which the individual feels empowered, safe, and physically and emotionally supported. She continues to increase her knowledge and skills as a doula and childbirth educator through continuing education, workshops, and research. She is committed to providing the highest level of quality perinatal support to her clients‚ which means staying up to date on all things pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and baby, all the time!
