My goal is to be able to provide you with full-spectrum doula care. I currently specialize in supporting women through struggles with fertility, through pregnancy and birth, and through postpartum with a focus on proper nourishment. My first eye-opening experience with birth was 10 years ago, when I assisted my sister during the birth of my niece. My sister had a very supportive midwife and I took an interest at the time in supporting her along her journey. Later that year, I became pregnant, but my pregnancy ended up in a miscarriage and this also changed me profoundly. I was left without answers or SUPPORT! This was the first time I realized there were many gaps that needed filling in the westernized medical world of pregnancy. In 2018, I finally decided to listen to my intuition and attend a DONA birth doula training. Since then I've been introduced to an entire community of teachers and leaders in this space, and the information I've learned so far has truly opened my eyes to what birth and the experiences around it should be like. Through practice, I've seen firsthand what kind of support a woman needs and deserves before, during, and after pregnancy.
