Bio

I'm a certified birth doula and trained postpartum doula with DONA International, a certified lactation counselor with the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, and a birth, lifestyle, and boudoir photographer. I am very excited and passionate about birth, breastfeeding, babies, and photography, and I look forward to guiding you on your birth journey. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and worked as a microbiologist in a large biodefense laboratory for eight years. After having two children, researching everything birth-related, and feeling prepared, I began researching education and careers in the birth work field and attended a doula workshop. I felt an immediate connection within the doula community that I haven't felt in a long time and pursued certification. Helping women and their partners through one of the most challenging, vulnerable, and beautiful moments of their lives ... doula work is definitely feeding my soul! In my spare time, I enjoy sewing, reading, cooking and creating new recipes, gardening, entertaining friends, and doing countless photography projects.
