Bio

I am married to a wonderful man and am the mother of four fabulous children. My love for teaching began as a career working with children with special needs, specifically those with autism, and their families. After navigating the maternity maze through four pregnancies and four very different births, my focus shifted from encouraging and supporting parents to advocate for their children to empowering women to advocate for themselves. Empowering women to make informed choices, especially as it pertains to issues of fertility, pregnancy, and childbirth is my passion. My training in childbirth education as well as labor assistance is through the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators.
