Bio

I'm a DONA-certified birth doula, a postpartum doula, and a certified lactation counselor. I am a proud member of the Tallahassee Doula Co-Op and the chapter leader of ICAN of Tallahassee, where I have helped mothers recover from cesareans and research plans for their next births. Over the years, it has become clear to me just how transformative giving birth is. It's an honor to witness families grow and the beauty and strength of birthing mothers. I left my job as a forensic toxicologist after the birth of my second child and enjoy my time with my two funny girls. When I can sneak away, I love to go backpacking and kayaking.
