I recently moved to L.A. from Germany, where I worked as a pediatric nurse. During that time I always felt unsatisfied hearing about patients' birth stories and the postpartum period and how different they were from what they hoped for. Moving to a new country seemed like the right time to switch careers and make a difference in the birthing community!
