Bio

Sarah is a birth and postpartum doula, lactation educator counselor, and owner of Nurtured in Joy Birth Services, where she has served families for nearly five years. She loves to equip and support families to have the birthing experience that they desire. As a mother of four, Sarah understands both the challenges and joys associated with birth and the postpartum period. Her addition to the birth team gives families the added guidance and confidence that serves to help make their birthing day the absolute best event that it can be. Sarah is trained by CAPPA as a labor doula and has a wide array of experience ranging from VBAC support, inductions, natural birth, Hypnobirthing and Bradley-birthing families, as well as cesarean birth support. When she's not assisting families during their birthing season, you'll likely find her enjoying the outdoors with her children or bouldering at the climbing gym.
