I became a doula to provide supportive care to expecting parents; to help them navigate the pregnancy and birth experience. The way we perceive and experience transformative life events, like the birth of a child, play important roles in our short and long term health. Having adequate support through these experiences is crucial.
Working with a doula through pregnancy and birth will not only boost your confidence in your body's ability to birth but also has positive effects on your labor experience
Supportive doula care is just one way to ensure you have a supportive and caring presence through your pregnancy and birth experience.
As your doula, I will provide you and your partner with emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and immediately after childbirth.
I want you to feel prepared, supported, and confident in the decisions you make for your birth.
