With the birth of her first child, Ania discovered that breastfeeding was much more challenging than she had expected. Ania then became involved with La Leche League, and has been counseling nursing families since 2004. She turned her passion for breastfeeding into a vocation with her board certification as a lactation consultant in 2010. Ania also holds a Master’s degree in communications. She spent many years in Europe and Asia, and speaks French and Polish. Ania and her husband live in Bethesda with their three children, all of whom were breastfed. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, and gardening.
