Anne is a wife, mother, Registered Nurse (RN), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Owner of Nursing From The Heart, a Private Lactation Consultant Practice in Carrollton serving families and communities in West Georgia. As a healthcare professional, she specializes in breastfeeding education, support, management and lactation care. For over 19 years she has enjoyed working as a healthcare team member within pediatrics, pediatric intensive care and maternal/child specialties caring for and improving the health and education of women and children. Anne has served in major hospitals, physician offices, schools and even summer camps dedicating herself to making families and communities healthier. Anne believes in providing caring evidence-based lactation support to mothers and babies in a diverse population with compassion and empathy. She is a professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience having served hundreds of moms and babies by improving breastfeeding outcomes. She is truly passionate about helping families achieve their breastfeeding goals and an advocate for breastfeeding awareness in the community. She is licensed with the State of Georgia, certified with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) and works individually with mothers, and in most cases with their healthcare team, to support and resolve any lactation or breastfeeding issues. In addition, she teaches in both private and group settings along with hosting a monthly breastfeeding support group
