I have been blessed to have jobs I have loved.... wife, momma, grammy, registered nurse, pregnancy care center director, lactation consultant, certified postpartum doula.... for all my life. It is hard to believe it has been 41 years since graduating nursing school. Though I would never have thought so in nursing school, my focus has been all things moms, babies and families....and still is. This journey has taken me from basic knowledge of how babies are born to a deep respect of the profound changes that take place within the childbearing family because we are so fearfully and wonderfully made.
