Bio

Elley has been a maternity nurse and lactation consultant for more than 20 years. Currently, she works at both WBWC and UNC as a lactation consultant. Elley has a BA in African Studies and a BS in Nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill. She and her husband live outside of Chapel Hill on a farm where they have many animals and have raised three boys. Elley helped create our MILC: Mothers & Infants Lactation Care team in 2010. Connecting people, making “fun” happen and enjoying the outdoors are some of her greatest joys!
