A new mom at 40, I wasn’t getting the latch. But Lucia helped me understand I could drop the worry and just let the baby work with me on doing it. She showed me a lot of tricks, got him to latch every time we met up, and helped me generally feel more confident that I could do this. We ended up nursing until 26 months when he self-weaned. It was awesome, and gave him his excellent start and strong immunity!
