Bio

Mary has been working with breastfeeding families since 2005 and
became an IBCLC in 2011. She holds a B.A. from Tennessee State
University and an MPH degree from Emory University School of Public
Health in Atlanta, Georgia. As the proprietor of Every Woman’s
Breastfeeding Consultant, LLC, she loves supporting mothers on their
breastfeeding journeys and is particularly interested in
intergenerational breastfeeding. Mary is a member of the International
Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), the United States Lactation
Consultant Association (USLCA), the Lactation Consultants of Metro
Saint Louis, and the Saint Louis Breastfeeding Coalition. She also serves
as a La Leche League Leader (LLL) and volunteers with I AM
Breastfeeding, an African-American mother-to-mother support group in
Ferguson, Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoys Zumba, photography,
teaching herself guitar and advising two teenage children, all breastfed
