I’m Mona Liza Hamlin, MSN, RN, IBCLC (please call me Mona ☺️). As a lactation consultant and pediatric nurse, my role is to give you the support you need and want to have the confidence and knowledge you need to reach your goals. Your wishes and dreams for you and your baby are important to me. I provide loving guidance and expert advice to help you find the best feeding plan for you and your baby.

Breastfeeding doesn’t always start out as rainbows and butterflies. Unfortunately, these babies don’t read the How to Breastfeed Manual in the womb! I know from my own personal and professional experiences how challenging and special breastfeeding can be.

Both my personal and professional experiences have helped mold me into the lactation consultant and mother I am today. I’ve had the opportunity to help mothers and babies with breastfeeding as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse and now oversee the lactation program in a leading children’s hospital. I am also very involved with several national organizations focused on maternal child health and the lactation field.

My core belief is that every mother deserves to get the support they need with breastfeeding.
