Bio

Shelly is a Licensed Practical Nurse, Doula and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has supported more than a thousand families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 2007. She received her IBCLC certification in October of 2014. Shelly is a preferred provider for Aetna and Unicare.

Shelly is usually available on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. After all, babies don’t check the calendar!
When not doing home visits for breastfeeding help, Shelly works as a lactation consultant at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester. You can also find her teaching childbirth, breastfeeding, and TummyTime! classes at various hospitals and sites in Central and Eastern Mass.
