About

Bio

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist, providing psychotherapy in a private psychology practice located in Mequon, Wisconsin. I have been providing therapy since 1996. As a therapist, I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and representing the full spectrum of mental illness, from college students to couples to individuals coping with severe mental illness.

I have worked with people struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, personality disorders, self-harm behaviors, and recovery from trauma. I have knowledge and experience providing cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, humanistic, forensic, and feminist therapies.

I graduated with a PhD (doctoral degree) in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2005, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I also completed an APA accredited internship at The Richard H. Hutchings Psychiatric Center in Syracuse, New York and a post-doctoral residency at The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. I am a member of the American Psychological Association.

In addition to my Northshore private practice, I also work at The Center for Behavioral Medicine in Brookfield, Wisconsin as part of a team providing a highly specialized, comprehensive treatment program in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
