Bio

Hello! I am a registered dietitian and certified lactation counselor in southern New Hampshire. I am especially excited to work with pregnant and nursing women and people who have diabetes. My quest to become a registered dietitian started when I was in high school and attended a diabetes class with a newly diagnosed family member. The science, food, and teaching had my attention and I knew I wanted career as a dietitian to help people learn what is best for their bodies.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst provided me with wonderful undergraduate education in Public Health and Nutrition. In the summer, I worked at a camp for children with insulin-dependent diabetes and loved understanding how food played a HUGE role in their care, wellbeing, and activities. During my dietetic internship, I worked with diabetes educators to learn as much as possible about how to improve the lives of those living with, or trying to prevent, diabetes. After passing my exam, I took my first job working at WIC, where I became more skilled and appreciative of counseling, family nutrition, lactation, and meal planning. My passion for working with women, families and diabetes continues as a Nutrition In Motion dietitian.

My goal with each person is to help them reach their goals through lifestyle and education.
