Pelvic Health Rehab Team Lead. Evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction, lymphedema, and oncology-related musculoskeletal concerns. I knew my calling was in women's health on the first day that I observed a women's health physical therapist, when I was a physical therapy student. I was struck by the enormous impact women's health physical therapists have on people in a single session. Hearing the stories of how patients had been silently coping with incontinence or pelvic pain for months or decades, sparked a fire in me. I knew that I wanted to be a health care provider that they could not only open up to and trust, but who could help them heal. I love being able to address sensitive topics with patients and empowering them to take control of their symptoms. The relief and hope I see on a patient's face during the first visit when I tell them that they are not alone, and that there is help available with physical therapy, gives me so much joy.
