Dawn earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 and worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for 12 years. She was the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Clinical Resident in 2007 and earned her Orthopaedics Clinical Specialty Certification in 2008. She has been a member of the Cedars-Sinai/USC Glorya Kaufman Dance Medicine Center and the Charcot-Marie-Tooth-Disease Clinic. Also, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2003. She has had extensive training in abdominal and pelvic health and women's health. Areas of focus include pregnancy and postpartum issues, pelvic pain, as well as incontinence. Her areas of expertise include orthopedics, women's health, working with dancers, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth-Disease. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is involved in the women's health, orthopaedic, and sports physical therapy sections.
