Linda graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Physical Therapy. She has 30+ years clinical experience in a variety of therapy settings--the last 20 in Women's Health. She was the lead therapist in the first hospital-based Women's Health PT program offered in the Kansas City metro area at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Her specialty is treating pelvic issues in women throughout their lifespan. This includes problems such as back & joint pain during pregnancy, bladder, bowel & sexual dysfunctions during the post-partum or menopausal stages. Medical diagnoses in these categories include: Sciatica; Lumbosacral & Sacroiliac pain: Hip or Groin pain; Pubic Symphysis Separation; Coccyxdynia (tail bone pain); Diastasis Recti Abdominus/DRA (separated stomach muscles); Urinary or Fecal Incontinence; Prolapsed or "Dropped" organs; Pelvic Pain syndromes such as Vulvadynia/Vestibulitis & Dyspareunia (painful intercourse). Linda also treats clients with primary pelvic organ diseases, such as Endometriosis, Interstitial Cystitis, Irritable Bowel, and various abdominal Cancers, as these can have secondary muscular symptoms which may respond to physical therapy through pelvic floor exercise & self-care instruction.
