Nicole is a Fort Wayne native and a graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Mount Saint Joseph (Cincinnati, OH) in 1995 where she played basketball and fast-pitch softball. Graduating with her Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from Andrews University in 2001, Nicole is board certified as a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS), a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Most recently, Nicole joined the ranks of the most accomplished Physical Therapists in the country by earning the “Best in Patient Care” award through the American Health Council. She currently serves as Volunteer Coordinator of the Physical Therapy department at Matthew 25, a Medical/Dental clinic for low-income, uninsured patients in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses, Nicole has a special passion for patients who are dealing with chronic pain and Fibromyalgia. She recognizes that patient education is an important part of the healing process, and uses a therapeutic neuroscience approach combined with manual therapy and movement when she treats her patients. Nicole is one of the few physical therapists in the Fort Wayne area who specializes in pelvic physical therapy. In her spare time, Nicole participates in Bible study, reads, golfs, exercises, and especially enjoys quality time with her friends and family.
