As a physical therapist with Relate, Susan specializes in pregnancy/postpartum, pelvic pain, pelvic weakness, and pediatric/infant issues. She is a recipient of the American Physical Therapy Association’s CAPP-Pelvic & CAPP-OB certifications, having demonstrated advanced skills in the assessment and treatment of both female and male pelvic disorders and pregnancy/postpartum conditions. Susan serves on the American Physical Therapy Association, Section on Women’s Health – Certificate of Achievement Committee for Obstetric Physical Therapy where she plays an integral role in determining course content and instructing for the obstetric physical therapy courses. Her passion and special interest in obstetric physical therapy is enhanced by the unique perspective of having practiced as a DONA Certified Birth Doula and Birthing From Within Childbirth Mentor for many years. Susan has been a strong advocate for women’s health and compassionate care throughout her career. She has been privileged to speak at the national, state, collegiate and local level on topics related to women’s health, pregnancy/postpartum, and pelvic disorders.
