Advise pregnant women to notify their healthcare provider if they become pregnant or intend to become pregnant during treatment with GEODON. Advise patients that GEODON may cause extrapyramidal and/or withdrawal symptoms (agitation, hypertonia, hypotonia, tremor, somnolence, respiratory distress, and feeding disorder) in a neonate. Possible effects of Ziprasidone on milk supply

Prolactin elevation has occurred during ziprasidone treatment,[4][5][6][7][8][9] and galactorrhea has been reported, often in adolescents.[4][5][6][7][10][11] However, prolactin elevation might be more transient and less severe than with phenothiazines.[12][13][14] The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.

Possible alternatives to Ziprasidone

Haloperidol, Olanzapine, Quetiapine, Risperidone.
