What is Bisabolol? Bisabolol is the key active plant extract isolated from German chamomile where it comprises nearly half of its essential oil1. It is thought to have anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties2. Is Bisabolol good for my skin? Bisabolol is a common additive in many skincare products, including moisturizing creams and ointments, lotions, cleansers, sunscreens, antiperspirants, and makeup products. Bisabolol is also a scent enhancing ingredient used in cosmetics. Is Bisabolol safe to use on my skin?
