What is Argan Oil used for?

rgania Spinosa (Argan) kernel oil is the oil extracted from the kernels of seeds from Argania Spinosa plant, otherwise known as the argan plant. Traditionally, argan oil has been utilized in cooking, in the treatment of skin infections, and in skin/hair care products1. Argan oil is composed of mono-unsaturated (80%) and saturated (20%) fatty acids. It contains polyphenols, tocopherols, sterols, squalene, and triterpene alcohols. Argan oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA)2.
